Taking inspiration from the design and colors of the Brisbane flag, including the city’s rivers, and organic structures.

RESEARCH
Brisbane, a city in Queensland, Australia has amazing architecture and a river surrounding it. Their shape language is organic and abstract representing the city as a whole.
LOGO DESIGN

For the logo design, I wanted to incorporate the notable architecture, environments, styles, and icons of Brisbane and Australia. That has an Olympic flavor to it. I started creating a series of logo sketches based on my ideas.
FINAL LOGO
After sketching, I took one of the strongest designs to vectorize and refine them and chose one as the final logo design.
The color palette was based on The Brisbane flag and its waters.
