All In to Vote
Social Media Design Challenge
DESIGN CHALLENGE
To create a social media post/sticker that reminds, encourages, and celebrates the right to vote.
AUDIENCE
The newly eligible voters, 18-25 years of age who are voting for the first time and need of encouragement.
CLIENT
Founded in 2016, the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge believes that higher education plays a role in graduating students into voters, and we work to close electoral participation gaps that persist by race and age.
Through an intentionally designed program that provides structure, support, and recognition, the ALL IN Challenge strengthens college and university efforts to improve civic learning, political engagement, and voter turnout.
RESEARCH/DIRECTION
Social media has been popularly used by our main demographic (18-25 years). Based on the social media culture, toxicity, and opinionated environment, this approach will reflect in a collage style of photography reflecting the newspapers and political imagery. Try to get their attention on all social media platforms to make a difference rather than complain about change.

Design ELEMENTS
COLOR
Since the goal is to get college students to vote, I decided it would be best to maintain the red, white, and blue colors fitting the political aspect of voting.
TYPOGRAPHY
I chose two different typefaces, "Elza" Black and "Arial" Bold to convey a modern and bold statement in the message. This combination will be effective in getting college students to vote.
DESIGN IN USE
I tested my design on multiple devices to make sure that the text size is easily readable and fits across different screen sizes.
PHOTOGRAPHY
For the photograph students, I selected 2 college students and directed them how they should act and pose differently. To make the animation more lively. Taken in a green screen room to make the masking of the students a lot easier and composite well.
